As for your understanding, currently "Ipoh Welfare Handicap Association" has 60 members with 13 full time staff and 1
driver; we have to use our fund to pay our daily administrative fee and other expenses to run our daily activity,
as we still under a weak financial status.
As a community-based non-profit organization we are dependent on monetary for our daily activities, approximately 85%
of our member guardians do not pay the caring fee or even contribute to the organization, our society monthly fund
received in between of RM3,000.00 to RM8,800.00, however is not enough for our expenses and administrative fee of
approximately RM20,000.00 per month. Committee member agree to raise fund from public, as currently, fund received
were not enough for our daily expenses. The recycling program is one of the designed fund raising programmes,
which had commenced since beginning of March 2006.
There are 2 lorries with "Ipoh Welfare Handicap Association" Logo provided services to collect the recycled materials,
which include clothing, containers, carton box, newspapers, old batteries, old electrical and old magazines etc from
around Perak area.
For your information, some of the old electronics and also clothing will be located at our society for our members to
utilize, while some will be sold to recycling centers as for our society fund. This is one solution to reduce our
society financial burden.
As recycling program one of our society fund raising programme, so I seeking public please take the time to help
out one another individual in our community, for those that wish to dispose of their used as a donation to the
society of any above recycled materials, we will provide collected services, please do not hesitate to call our
